NEW YORK — Gossip Girls star and actress Alyssa Milano is coming back to her old stomping grounds.

Milano’s first new series, The View, is expected to premiere sometime this year.

She’ll be joining former showrunner Jeff Probst, who left the show in January to join ABC.
