Walmart is recalling more than 1.4 million towels and other products due to an illness in a Spanish retailer that killed at least four people.
The recall covers the company’s restrooms in Walmarts stores in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.
It covers towels and rags from all the stores in Spain, as well as from stores in Chile, Mexico and Brazil.
The products can’t be used in other countries.
Walmart said it would refund any purchases made through the recall.
The company said it is working with the Spanish government to investigate the cause of the outbreak.
The Spanish retailer, known as Casa de Espana, is part of the same chain of stores that owns other Walmart stores in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.
In January, two people died and 11 were sickened after washing towels in a Walmington store in Texas.
