Toronto, Ont.

– February 18, 2018: Toronto’s first bath towels will be made by the United States and made by a Canadian company in Toronto’s Old City, which will be the first time the city has produced them in that country.

“The United States is one of the most progressive countries in the world, so there’s no question about that,” said Rob Knecht, president of the Canadian-based company which makes the towel, Baked Towels.

“In the U.S., you have the right to make it and it’s always been the case that you can’t be an American and make it in Canada.”

Baked Towel CEO Rob Kiech said the company’s decision to manufacture the towels in Toronto was inspired by Canada’s progressive policies toward LGBT people.

“We know that the LGBT community has a lot of challenges,” he said.

“We wanted to make sure we were making the best product possible for the LGBTQ community in Toronto.”

The towel is expected to be available for purchase at select Toronto locations, which include Baked Bags and T-Shirts.

The towel was created in Toronto in the late 1960s and has since been exported to more than 60 countries, including the United Kingdom and Brazil.

Kiech, who is from Toronto, said the towel has been a favorite for several years, but was unable to get the Canadian company to manufacture it in Toronto.

When the Toronto company started producing in the United State, the towel was not only an iconic product, but also one of only a handful of Canadian bath towels made in the U, Kietht said.

As of December, the company had shipped out more than 1,000 of the towels and will be shipping more in the coming months.

Kiecht said the Toronto towel has an extremely low price tag.

A $60 Canadian shipping charge will cover the cost of shipping the towels to Toronto, which is more than double the cost for a standard bath towel, he said, adding that the Canadian manufacturer was able to make the towel in Toronto due to its progressive policy on sexual orientation and gender identity.

In the United Arab Emirates, Baking Towels is known as the first Muslim-owned brand in the Middle East.

It has also been manufacturing towels for the Muslim community in Jordan and Israel.

Knecht said he was looking forward to working with Baked towels to bring the towel to Canada.

“I think it’s important to have Canadian-made products because it will allow us to bring more product to the market,” he added.

“It will also allow us more choice for the customer because the customer can choose which product they want to purchase.”
